Our projects
in the field.
Reducing noise from the Canadian Malartic mine and road traffic
A 350 m × 5 m woven willow Pilebyg® wall (5 dBA attenuation and 12,433 kg of carbon captured).
Rehabilitating the sand pit without halting operations
13 ha under intensive revegetation (up to 268,800 willows planted and fertilizing residuals valorized on site, since 2017).
Reduced infiltration at the Sept-Îles LES
Evacap™ cover over ~11 ha of the former sanitary landfill (LES): 80 to 94% of seasonal precipitation evapotranspired and leachate seepage greatly reduced.
A residential neighbourhood brought back below the comfort threshold
A 750 m × 3 m Pilebyg® wall (back below the MTMD residential comfort threshold).
16 willow varieties under trial in the North (ArcelorMittal)
A varietal trial of 12,300 willows on 1.7 ha (16 varieties tested in northern mining conditions).
Leachate and rainwater managed on the same site
Integrated management combining Evaplant® and Evacap™ for maximum performance.
A truck parking lot below the municipal criterion
A 51 m × 5.5 m Pilebyg® wall (City of Longueuil's 53 dBA municipal criterion met).
Treating water at an environmental complex, without discharge
96,000 Evaplant® willows on 6 ha valorizing a former landfill (treating up to ~20,000 m³/year of water, without discharge).
Screening a composting site behind willows
A ~400 m visual screen from a dense planting of ~16,000 willows to hide operations from the road.
A million willows to restore a sand pit
~50 ha revegetated with 1,000,000 willows and 5,000 t of fertilizing residuals (progressive rehabilitation of a sand pit at the end of its operating life).
A grocery loading dock brought below 45 dBA
A 68 m × 3.5 m Pilebyg® Classic wall (45 dBA regulatory criterion met in the adjacent residential zone).
Treatment of ~5,000 m³ of leachate without discharge
1.7 ha of Evaplant® on a former cell: ~5,000 m³ of leachate treated without discharge and ~117 t CO₂ eq. captured.
800 m of willow fence along a bike path
~800 m of woven willow fencing between homes and a bike path (demarcation, privacy and landscape integration).
Containing noise from the basketball courts
A 35 m × ≥ 3 m vegetated noise barrier (simulated reduction of 5 to 15 dBA, Vinacoustik study).
