Agricultural mechanic
Maintain and repair Ramo's fleet of specialized agricultural equipment. Diagnose, modify, and operate as needed (central to the company's operational reliability).
The role
As an agricultural mechanic, you are responsible for the preventive maintenance, diagnosis and repair of Ramo's agricultural and custom equipment.
You may also operate machinery during peak seasons, including soil preparation, planting, fertilization, and harvest.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and modifications on agricultural equipment
- Diagnose equipment problems and determine the repairs required
- Repair agricultural equipment and custom-modified equipment
- Operate machinery as needed for preparation, planting, fertilization, and harvest
- Maintain detailed records of mechanical and agricultural activities
What we are looking for
- 2+ years of experience in mechanics and/or tractor operation
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence
- Quick learning skills, autonomy, and a strong sense of quality
- Availability for outdoor work
- Assets: diploma in agricultural mechanics, heavy-equipment operator certification, and proficiency with GPS systems
