On the willow floor, you will be responsible for:
- Performing preventive maintenance and modifications on agricultural equipment;
- Diagnosing problems and determining the necessary repairs;
- Repairing agricultural and other equipment;
- Operating agricultural machinery when needed (soil preparation, willow planting, soil fertilization, willow harvesting);
- Keeping a detailed logbook of your mechanical and agricultural activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of experience in mechanics and/or tractor and agricultural machinery operation;
- Valid driver’s license – Class 5 (Class 1 or 3 is an asset);
- Ability to learn quickly;
- Willingness to work outdoors and availability for overtime when required;
- Resourceful and autonomous;
- Ability to reorganize and take action when faced with unexpected challenges;
- Attention to quality — our willows grow faster when they’re well taken care of!
It’s a plus if you have:
- DEP in Agricultural Mechanics;
- Training as a Heavy Equipment Operator;
- Ability to use a GPS system on agricultural machinery (asset).
