Working environment
Our projects are located across Canada. You’ll be involved in projects in Eastern Canada (ON, QC, Maritimes). At times, you’ll be required to travel and visit our various planting sites and generators of residual materials.
In collaboration with other members of the project management team, your main responsibilities would be:
Develop business proposals for the establishment of new plantations and the recovery of residual materials in willow plantations, including the restoration of degraded sites and marginal lands;
Monitor and manage projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and to Ramo’s high quality standards;
Coordinate planting and maintenance activities in collaboration with the operational team and/or subcontractors;
Contribute to the development of marketing strategies for products derived from willow cultivation, with an emphasis on the valorization of residual materials in willow plantations;
Liaise with other Ramo divisions to develop markets for willow fiber;
Ensure smooth and effective communication with external stakeholders.
Job requirements :
Degree in agronomy or agri-environmental engineering;
More than 3 years’ work experience in agronomy (mandatory);
Solid knowledge of agronomy, field crop farming practices and waste reclamation;
Ability to manage projects independently and as part of a team, from conception to completion;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Strong ability to establish and maintain interpersonal relations with various stakeholders;
Fluency in written and spoken English;
Willingness to travel occasionally;
Believe in climate change!
