Consulting literature, willow isn’t always recognized for its durability like white cedar or white oak, for example. However, moisture is wood’s main enemy. By applying basic principles of durability to keep the wood dry, practically all wood species can be long-lasting. Additionally, our debarking process is unique. We debark willow stems like peeling a banana. This technique maintains the surface of willow stems extremely smooth, making it very difficult for water to penetrate, unlike wood pieces that have been sawn or debarked using an abrasive process.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
