Sound-absorbing walls in debarked willow
Description
Unlike raw dried willow fences, peeled willow does not require climbing plants. Peeling increases the lifespan of willow rods and helps maintain an incredible visual appearance over the years. By removing the bark, water cannot enter underneath it, keeping the wood dry much longer. With raw willow, the bark will peel off over time, giving a very rustic appearance to the product. This phenomenon will not occur with peeled fencing and is suitable for projects that wish to maintain the contemporary finish of woven willow rods.
The willow rods will turn into a beautiful platinum gray over time. Since it is not necessary to match very aggressive Virginia creeper plants at the base of the screen, it is entirely possible to plant less invasive ornamental climbing plants such as clematis and climbing hydrangeas.
For the design of our products, we only use robust, durable, and recyclable materials. To maximize their durability, we use willow rods with a large diameter. The frames are made of galvanized steel and very resistant wood such as cedar, larch, spruce, and false acacia locust.
